Agile Master / Scrum Master - Vehicle Diagnostics

Role Overview

Agile Masters (previously Scrum Masters) serve as servant leaders and coaches for agile teams. They educate teams on agile methods and SAFe, ensure adherence to agile processes, remove impediments, and foster an environment of high performance, continuous flow, and relentless improvement.

Main Tasks
  1. Serve as a servant leader and coach for the agile team, with decision authority over organizational setup, including resource planning in collaboration with PO and PFE.
  2. Ensure compliance with agile and development processes, educating the team on agile methods and SAFe, responsible for processes like Scrum, Kanban, inspect & adapt, and effort estimation; monitor quality measures.
  3. Eliminate impediments, reinforce team rules, and protect the team from uncontrolled work expansion.
  4. Foster high-performing team dynamics and continuous improvement, ensuring team velocity improvement, building a high-performance team, and supporting PFE/RTE for efficiency.
  5. Facilitate team and Scrum meetings, such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and reviews.
  6. Coordinate with Product Field and Release Train leadership, and other Agile Masters for estimations, dependencies, and synchronization.
  7. Assist in preparing for PF/ART activities, including PI planning and system demos.
  8. Coordinate release and delivery activities at least twice a year.
  9. Manage budget tracking and ordering activities for the team.
Minimum Requirements
  • Academic degree in computer science, engineering, IT, project management, or similar.
  • Advanced knowledge of agile and lean working methods (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, OKR) and mindset (servant/lateral leadership).
  • Basic technical understanding or eagerness to learn.
  • Strong team-building, coaching, and development skills.
  • Excellent understanding of group dynamics.
  • Exceptional moderation and facilitation skills.
  • Good process understanding with result orientation.
  • Strong communication and visualization skills.
  • Experience in stakeholder management.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and pioneering spirit.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, demonstrating empathy, active listening, and providing feedback.
