Job Description:
Role Overview: Agile Masters, also known as Scrum Masters, serve as servant leaders and coaches for agile teams. They educate teams on agile methodologies and SAFe, ensure adherence to processes, remove impediments, and foster an environment of high performance and continuous improvement.
Main Tasks
- Act as a servant leader and coach for the agile team, making decisions on organizational setup and resource planning in collaboration with Product Owner and PFE.
- Ensure compliance with agile and development processes, educate the team on agile methods and SAFe, and oversee process quality measures.
- Remove impediments, reinforce team rules, and protect the team from uncontrolled work expansion.
- Foster high-performing team dynamics, support continuous velocity improvement, and assist in building a high-performance team supporting PFE/RTE to ensure PF/ART efficiency.
- Facilitate team and Scrum meetings, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and reviews.
- Coordinate with Product Field and Release Train Heads, and other Agile Masters for estimations, dependencies, and synchronization.
- Assist in preparation for PF/ART activities like PI planning and system demos.
- Coordinate release and delivery activities at least twice a year and manage budget tracking and ordering activities.
Qualifications
- Degree in computer science, engineering, IT, project or people management, or related fields.
- Advanced knowledge of agile and lean methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, OKR) and mindset (servant/lateral leadership).
- Basic technical understanding or eagerness to learn.
- Strong team-building, coaching, and development skills.
- Excellent understanding of group dynamics, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and facilitation skills.
- Result-oriented with good process understanding, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and visualization skills, stakeholder management experience.
- Continuous improvement mindset and pioneering spirit.
- Self-reflection and team working abilities.
