Job summary

IBM Consulting UK FutureNow is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead delivery from initial discovery through to live, using Agile and Lean methods.

You will build and motivate cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, ensure governance and quality, and drive continuous improvement across complex programmes for public and private sector clients in a hybrid work environment in Manchester.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and governance.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
• Experience delivering system and process improvement projects.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Analytical mindset with focus on quality and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery from Initial discovery through to live.
• Lead project planning, execution, and delivery.
• Manage the delivery plan with the wider Project plan.
• Apply Agile and Lean tools and techniques (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, XP).
• Build and maintain teams, ensuring motivation and collaboration.
• Oversee the implementation and enhancement of systems.
• Focus the team on what is most important to delivery of products and services.
• Drive continuous improvement.
• Identify obstacles and help the team to overcome them.
• Encourage and facilitate continuous improvement.
