Job summary

IBM Consulting UK FutureNow is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead delivery from initial discovery through to live, using Agile and Lean methods.

You will build and motivate cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, ensure governance and quality, and drive continuous improvement across complex programmes for public and private sector clients in a hybrid work environment in Manchester.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery from Initial discovery through to live.

• Apply the most appropriate Agile and Lean tools and techniques (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, XP - extreme programming)
• Build and maintain teams, ensuring they are motivated, collaborating and working well Oversee the implementation and enhancement of systems.
• Focus the team on what is most important to the delivery of products and services
• Drive continuous improvement
• Identify obstacles and help the team to overcome them
• Encourage and facilitate continuous improvement

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Experience with Agile or hybrid delivery models.
• Industry standard project management certifications i.e. PMI PMP
