Overview

We are looking for an experienced Agile Delivery Lead to join a growing digital function within a well-established, mission-driven organisation. This is the first hire of its kind and will play a key role in embedding Agile ways of working, proving the value of delivery leadership, and shaping how Agile delivery is scaled across the organisation. This is a delivery leadership role for someone hands-on with delivery, confident working with integration-focused technical teams, and capable of managing or mentoring other Agile professionals. You will be expected to drive delivery outcomes while also coaching teams, supporting individuals, and improving delivery maturity across the function. It is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in an environment where Agile practices are still maturing and where delivery leadership needs to be established from the ground up.

Salary: Up to £70,000 + 14% Pension + 25 days annual Leave (+ Bank Holidays + 8 Additional -Fixed Paid Days off)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Agile delivery within a cross-functional product team focused on systems integration and data flow
• Facilitate sprint ceremonies and ensure delivery cadence is maintained
• Use delivery metrics to guide team performance, surface risks and support coaching
• Manage cross-team dependencies and ensure clarity across delivery plans and roadmaps
• Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile practices and help embed continuous improvement
• Line manage Agile Delivery professionals and support their development as the function grows
• Contribute to establishing delivery standards and frameworks that can scale across teams
• Work closely with technical and product stakeholders to deliver outcomes in a complex systems environment

What We Are Looking For

• Strong Agile delivery experience in product or technical teams delivering complex work
• Experience coaching others on Agile principles and helping teams mature their ways of working
• Ability to use delivery metrics to improve outcomes and support decision-making
• Excellent facilitation and communication skills with an ability to keep delivery on track and stakeholders aligned
• Experience managing or mentoring other Agile delivery professionals
• Comfortable operating in environments where Agile is still being embedded and scaled
• Understanding of systems integration, data flows or platform engineering
• Practical experience with Jira, Confluence or equivalent tools for tracking delivery
