Job description

Join us as an Agile Coach at Barclays, where you will help transform and modernise our digital estate to develop a market-leading digital platform with a focus on customer experience.

This key role involves developing scrum principles and sprint goals aligned with industry best practices and bank objectives, fostering high-performing technology teams, and supporting scrum projects. Your daily tasks include working with the lines of business to bring their needs to life through solutions, rapid prototyping, and proof of concepts using Java, BDD testing, and Public Cloud (AWS).

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Excellent facilitation and negotiation skills with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in an Agile transformation environment.
  • Understanding of Java, BDD testing concepts, and Public Cloud (AWS).

Highly desirable skills include:

  • Knowledge of authorization, authentication, SSO, multi-factor authentication, identity lifecycle management, and IAM solutions (e.g., Forgerock, Ping, Oracle, SailPoint).
  • Strong relationship-building skills, patience, and resilience to change.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Certified Agile practitioner.

This role is based in our London office and involves key responsibilities such as facilitating Scrum events, supporting iteration execution, optimizing team flow, mitigating risks, fostering high-performing teams, managing stakeholders, and ensuring governance and reporting.
