Job summary

TrueNorth is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join the IM&T team in Newcastle upon Tyne. You will bridge business and IT, gathering requirements, modelling processes and delivering value through continuous improvement.

The role requires strong BA fundamentals, experience in Agile environments and the ability to work with stakeholders and third-party suppliers to ensure successful solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst with strong stakeholder management and requirements gathering skills.
• Experience in Agile environments, writing user stories, facilitating workshops, and Scrum ceremonies.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear functional requirements and documentation.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills; able to influence across levels.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business requirements with stakeholders.
• Investigate challenges and identify process and system improvement opportunities.
• Translate needs into functional requirements, user stories, epics and project documentation.
• Support delivery of technology and business change using Agile methodologies.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions to engage stakeholders and drive outcomes.
• Analyse processes and data to propose value-adding solutions for efficiency.
• Collaborate with suppliers and IM&T colleagues on solution design and implementation.
• Produce high-quality documentation meeting standards for quality and value.
• Contribute to continuous improvement using BA techniques and process mapping.
