Job summary

The Airbus AGGP2027 Graduate Structures Research and Technology Engineer programme in the UK offers a two-year development path with rotations across structural design roles. You will gain hands-on experience in wing structures and manufacturing interfaces, preparing you for future leadership challenges within Airbus.

What you will be doing

You will be on a development journey to guide your growth into the role of AGGP2027 – Graduate Structures Research and Technology Engineer and can expect to be involved in the following:

• Design & integration of complex wing structures for the next generation of aircraft
• Technical problem solving of structures including key component interfaces. 3D experience, reference structural design principles, understanding of the design process
• CDR (critical design review) to DFM (design for manufacturing)
• How to create space allocation models (SAMs), Design Principles (DPs) and Detailed part drawings

Your development journey will include a minimum of one rotational placement to support your growth into position. At the end of the two year development programme you will have developed into the position of AGGP2027 – Graduate Structures Research and Technology Engineer!

What we are looking for

• A degree level or equivalent within either aerospace engineering or mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Recently graduated or first professional experience in the field of structures design.
• Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English).
• A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation.
• The ability to be self aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.
