Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited is launching AGGP2027, a two-year Graduate development journey for Wing Structures/Systems Installation Engineers in the UK. The programme combines hands-on engineering rotations with leadership training, enabling rapid growth and exposure to high-impact projects.

You will perform static stress analyses, work with CATIA/DMU tools, and contribute to fatigue/damage tolerance studies while digitalizing processes through coding.

Qualifications

  • Degree level or equivalent in a relevant field of study.
  • Degree type: Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering (2:1 or higher).
  • Recently graduated or first professional experience in a relevant field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication in English.
  • Desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving innovation.
  • Self-awareness and initiative in development.
  • Good knowledge of coding and data analysis techniques (desirable).
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm to explore and adapt in a dynamic environment.
  • Passion for Aerospace and its civil aircraft market.

What you will be doing
  • Static Stress analysis, from first principles to FEM based analysis
  • Design – CATIA tools, configuration management and DMU in Wing Structures and/or Systems installation

Your development journey will include a minimum of one rotational placement to support your growth into position. At the end of the two year development programme you will have developed into the position of Wing Structures / Systems Installation Engineer

What we are looking for
  • A degree level or equivalent within a relevant field of study
  • Degree type: Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering (2:1 or higher)
  • Recently graduated or first professional experience in a relevant field
  • Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English)
  • A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation
  • The ability to be self aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development
  • Good knowledge of coding and data analysis techniques (desirable but not essential)
  • Natural curiosity and excitement to explore
  • Excitement to work in a dynamic and changing environment
  • Passion about Aerospace and the challenges of the civil aircraft market
  • Sensitivity to clients needs and ability to develop good client relationships
