Job summary

Meta in the United Kingdom is seeking Research Interns to join the Meta Superintelligence Lab, focusing on Agentic AI, Muse and personal superintelligence. You will develop state-of-the-art agentic AI algorithms and build scalable ML systems with research colleagues.

Internships range from 12 to 24 weeks with multiple start dates. Ideal candidates are pursuing a degree, have Python and ML/DL experience, and a proven track record in research or open source work.

Qualifications

• Pursuing degree and intent to return after internship
• Experience with Python
• Experience building systems based on ML/DL methods
• Proven track record in ML research or related fields
• Experience working cross-functionally in a team
• Experience with agentic AI methods and open source contributions
• Publications or experience in ML, RL, reasoning/coding, CS or data science
• Experience solving analytical problems with quantitative approaches
• Experience setting up ML experiments and analyzing results
• Experience with deep learning frameworks

Responsibilities

• Develop novel state-of-the-art agentic AI algorithms and systems using ML/RL techniques.
• Research agentic LLMs, agentic RL environments, LLM post-training, and related topics.
• Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of agentic AI algorithms and deployed systems.
• Advance intelligent, agentic machines capable of reasoning, tool use, and personalized interactions.
• Collaborate with researchers and cross-functional partners; communicate research plans, progress and results.
• Disseminate research results through publications, presentations, and open source contributions.
• Contribute to research applicable to Meta product development when possible
