Job summary

Cohere is seeking Software Engineers with Applied AI experience to design, build and deploy agentic workflows powered by Large Language Models (LLMs). You will work on North, Cohere's AI workspace platform, delivering enterprise-grade AI solutions for finance, healthcare, and telecoms.

You will collaborate with customers, translate complex problems, and ship reliable, observable AI agents that integrate securely with tools and data sources, with a startup-fast but enterprise-high bar.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building production-grade software in Python.
• Experience deploying RAG/agentic applications with LLMs.
• Familiarity with the full LLM stack including vector databases and orchestration frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Translate business problems into well-framed agentic workflows with clear success criteria.
• Design, build, and ship LLM-powered agents across tools, APIs and data sources.
• Develop North features across the full product lifecycle from concept to production.
• Own end-to-end use cases, collaborating across frontend and backend as needed.
• Contribute to shared frameworks to ensure reliable, observable, and auditable deployments.
