Job summary

Cohere in the United Kingdom is seeking Software Engineers with Applied AI experience to own and deploy agentic workflows powered by LLMs, from prototypes to production-grade agents. You will collaborate with enterprise customers, bridging North and client engineering teams to securely integrate AI into critical workflows.

Travel up to 20–40% to work on-site with customers and partners, and contribute to robust, observable, and auditable AI solutions across finance, healthcare, and telecoms.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building and deploying production-grade software in Python.
• Experience deploying production-grade RAG and agentic apps with multi-step task planning.
• Familiar with frontier models, vector databases, and orchestration frameworks.
• Proven ability to build robust evaluation frameworks for accuracy, safety and latency.
• Experience working directly with enterprise customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Translate high-value business problems into well-framed agentic workflows with clear success criteria.
• Lead the design, build, and delivery of LLM-powered agents across tools, APIs and data sources.
• Build and ship features for North, the AI workspace platform, across the full product lifecycle.
• Own end-to-end use cases, adapting across technical areas including frontend when needed.
• Contribute to shared frameworks to enable consistent delivery across teams.
• Drive clarity in ambiguous situations and raise engineering quality.
• Travel up to 20–40% to work on-site with customers and partners.
