Job summary

Cohere is hiring software engineers with Applied AI to own the design, build, and deployment of agentic workflows powered by LLMs. You’ll work with North, Cohere’s AI workspace platform, and partner with enterprise customers to deliver reliable, auditable AI solutions.

Location: UK. You’ll travel 20–40% to client sites and contribute across the full product lifecycle, from prototyping to production-grade features, including frontend work when needed.

Qualifications

• You have hands-on Python experience for production software.
• You’ve built agentic apps using LLMs and tools with reliability.
• You can engage with enterprise customers and translate needs into specs.

Responsibilities

• Translate high-value business problems into agentic workflows with clear success criteria.
• Design, build, and deliver LLM-powered agents across tools, APIs, and data sources.
• Develop features for North, from concept to production.
• Own end-to-end use cases, including frontend work when needed.
• Contribute to shared frameworks ensuring quality across customers.
• Drive alignment and improve engineering clarity on initiatives.
