We are actively seeking a highly competent Site Agent to play a pivotal role in a prestigious highways scheme. This role is perfect for a dynamic individual with a robust background in highway maintenance, structures, and surfacing, who is ready to lead and deliver projects to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of highway construction and maintenance projects.
• Ensuring all works are carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Effective liaison with the supply chain to ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Managing and coordinating across multiple sites with a hands‑on approach.
• Monitoring project progress and implementing strategies to ensure project completion within set timelines and budgets.

Essential Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in highways, preferably having worked as a Site Agent or Senior Engineer.
• In-depth knowledge of highway maintenance, structures, and surfacing.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising effectively with the supply chain and project teams.
• Must hold a valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) or SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) certificate.
• From an Engineering background, demonstrating technical proficiency and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work across multiple sites, demonstrating excellent organisational and leadership qualities.
