Job description

We’re hiring experienced temporary, 0hr contract, adhoc, Housekeepers / Room Attendants!

We pay £12.50 PAYE per hour + holiday pay accrued as you work. We pay weekly; any hours worked Monday to Sunday will be processed the following Monday. Your payslip will arrive in your email on Thursday and pay will arrive in your bank on Friday.

Our main contract is at an 83-room hotel in Northampton NN6. The rooms are maintained in teams of 2, usually one permanent staff and one agency during busy periods.

Over a 6-hour period, you’ll be expected to clean between 12 and 20 rooms in teams of 2.

The shifts are usually 0900-1500 or 1000-1600 and you’ll be entitled to a 30-minute break with a meal on offer.

There is free and secure parking on site.

Applicants:

• SHOULD have evident history of hotel housekeeping and/or deep cleaning guest rooms, making beds, changing linens, vacuuming, dusting, restocking the rooms, portering linen, laundering linen, emptying bins, replacing bin bags, cleaning ensuites and bathrooms, changing towels, removal of crockery and/or dinnerware, etc.
• MUST be a driver with access to a reliable vehicle due to venue location(s).
• WILL have previous experience of working in a hotel as a Housekeeper or Room Attendant.
• COULD work for OR have worked for hotels such as The Hilton, Premier Inn, Mercure, Travelodge, etc.
• MIGHT have work experience in a Conference Centre as a Room Attendant or Housekeeper.
• CAN work as part of a team and be able to build interpersonal relationships with colleagues.
• SHALL have a keen eye for detail and can report necessary repairs or replacements to the housekeeping or duty manager.
• COULD be experienced in cleaning common/public areas.
• WILL be flexible, adaptable, approachable, presentable, and professional.
