Platinum Recruitment are supporting an award-winning, countryside boutique hotel, situated just a short drive from the Blackburn town centre and we have an opportunity for an Agency Chef de Partie to work on an ongoing, temporary basis.

Our client is an award-winning countryside gem of a hotel, set amidst acres of Ribble Valley countryside, and is a popular wedding venue. The hotel’s main restaurant serves a variety of seasonal dishes using fresh ingredients and is open for lunch, dinner, and afternoon tea. Working as part of a team of 4 chefs, you will cater for an average of 20 covers per night during the week and an average of 30 covers per night at weekends. Sunday lunch caters for an average of 50-60 covers each week. C&B can be catered for up to 200 covers.

Parking is available on site, and the nearest bus stop is just a 10-minute walk away.

Please note, accommodation is not available during this assignment therefore you must be able to commute to the Blackburn area of Lancashire on a daily basis.



What’s involved?

As an Agency Chef de Partie at this boutique hotel you will start work immediately on an ongoing basis, whilst they recruit permanent staff, supporting the kitchen team in preparing, cooking and presenting dishes for their 60-cover restaurant, using fresh, seasonal ingredients.

Following instructions from the Head Chef you will work a variety of shift patterns to serve up a memorable dining experience to guests.

Accommodation is not available during this assignment; therefore, you must be able to commute to the Blackburn area of Lancashire on a daily basis.
