Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is seeking a Catering Assistant in Grays, Essex, offering daytime shifts from 08:30 to 14:30, Monday to Thursday. The role pays £12.71 per hour plus £1.53 holiday pay, totaling £14.24 per hour, with weekly pay and ongoing temporary placement.

This position requires an Enhanced DBS certificate and prior catering or hospitality experience. You will assist with food prep, service, and maintain strict hygiene standards while working closely with the team.

• You’ll earn £12.71 per hour plus £1.53 holiday pay, totalling £14.24 per hour inclusive.

Key Responsibilities

As a Catering Assistant, you’ll help keep the catering service running smoothly by:

• Assisting with food preparation and general kitchen duties.
• Supporting food service and serving customers.
• Keeping the kitchen and service areas clean and tidy.
• Following food hygiene and health and safety procedures.
• Working closely with the team to provide an efficient catering service.
