Job summary

WDHS in Coleraine Campus is seeking a Team Leader - Aged Care Support Services to coordinate and lead food services, hotel services, linen and environmental services within a rural aged care setting.

You will oversee daily operations, rostering, budgets and compliance, while supporting a dedicated team to deliver high-quality meals and a safe, welcoming environment for residents, visitors and staff. This role blends leadership with hands-on service delivery in healthcare.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to support and develop teams.
• Accredited Food Safety Supervisor certification or willingness to obtain.
• Relevant hospitality qualification or equivalent health industry experience.
• Experience in food services, hospitality, environmental services, aged care or healthcare settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sound organisational, rostering and time management abilities.
• Experience managing operational processes, stock control and budgets.
• Commitment to customer service and person-centred care.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Leadership & Team Management: Lead, supervise and support the Food Services, Hotel Services, Linen and Environmental Services teams.
• Food Safety & Compliance: Maintain food safety program and lead annual audits.
• Operational Coordination: Coordinate daily operations, rostering, leave management and service delivery.
• Quality & Environmental Services: Monitor cleaning standards and drive improvement.
• Administration & Resource Management: Oversee orders, stock, budgets and records.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with residents, families and clinical teams.
