Job summary

Junior Adventures Group in Rickmansworth is seeking an Afterschool Activity Leader for Merchant Taylors’ Prep School. This part-time role runs 3:00pm–6:00pm, 15 hours per week during term time, with pay up to £12.71 per hour.

You’ll deliver a range of age-appropriate activities, supervise children aged 4–11, help with snacks and sign-in/out, and contribute to a warm, energetic team. An Enhanced DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children is desirable.
• Ability to lead activities and engage groups of 4–11 year olds.
• Positive, can-do attitude with creativity and energy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exciting, age-appropriate activities (multi-sports, arts & crafts, group games, creative play).
• Set up play spaces, maintain safety, cleanliness, and a positive environment.
• Supervise children with care, ensuring inclusion and wellbeing.
