Job summary

Bosch-Homecomfort in Maidenhead is seeking an Aftersales Technical Support Engineer to deliver end-to-end technical support for air conditioning systems across the UK and Ireland, including on-site and remote diagnostics.

You will train customers at the Maidenhead Training Centre, coordinate with site engineers and Sales, and assess spare parts and warranty claims in line with company processes.

Qualifications

• HVAC experience required.
• NVQ Level 2 - Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
• NVQ Level 3 - Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
• Safe Handling of Refrigerant.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote technical support, including system commissioning, fault finding and system diagnosis across the UK & Ireland.
• Act as a key communication link between customers, site engineers and Hitachi teams.
• Work closely with Sales and internal teams to support workflows and business needs.
• Deliver customer training both onsite and at the Maidenhead Training Centre, including presentations and hands‑on demos.
• Assess spare parts and warranty claims in line with company processes.

We are excited to offer you the opportunity to join our Aftersales department as an Aftersales Technical Support Engineer!

The Aftersales Technical team strive to deliver exceptional technical support and rapid resolution of air conditioning issues across the installed base. The team provide end‑to‑end post‑installation experience, from triage via telephone, through on‑site breakdown response and root cause diagnostics, to corrective actions. The team provide a nationwide service to support our customers whenever possible.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Providing onsite and remote technical support, including system commissioning, fault finding and system diagnosis across the UK & Ireland.
• Acting as a key communication link between customers, site engineers and Hitachi teams.
• Working closely with Sales and internal teams to support workflows and business needs.
