Job summary

BMW Group UK in Farnborough is offering a Motorrad Aftersales Business Development Assistant placement year. You will support the Customer Support team across the UK and Ireland, helping with reporting, data analysis and retention initiatives.

You’ll develop and maintain Motorrad Riders Equipment and motorcycle accessories offers, assist with servicing/repair programs and engage the Retailer Network to drive programme uptake. You’ll gain hands-on experience in a multinational setting.

Qualifications

• Well organised with a knack for prioritising and meeting deadlines (including interim goals) and basic project management.
• Comfortable working on both individual projects and team initiatives.
• Confident interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, organised, show initiative and flexibility.
• Basic automotive commercial awareness and understanding of Aftersales processes.
• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Project.

Responsibilities

• Support reporting and data analysis for Motorrad Aftersales across the UK & Ireland.
• Help develop and maintain Motorrad Riders Equipment and motorcycle accessories offers, servicing/repair and customer retention programmes.
• Provide forecasting and reporting of parts and accessories performance, and support supplier coordination with the Retailer network.
• Assist in delivering retention programmes and initiatives to retailer networks.
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure pricing and stock levels align with programme goals.
