Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for the afternoon shift in Kettering. The role is on a contract basis with a 14:00–22:00 pattern, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends and bank holidays. Salary is £19.92 per hour plus a 15% shift allowance for hours after 19:00 (£22.91 per hour).

The supervisor will lead a team, manage stock, and ensure safety and KPI targets are met. The ideal candidate has proven supervisory experience, a FLT licence, and familiarity with SAP or similar

Qualifications

• Proven experience supervising warehouse operations in a similar role.
• Strong people management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
• Financial and budgetary awareness.
• Experience in managing Material Handling Equipment with a valid FLT licence.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with SAP or similar Warehouse Management Systems.
• Excellent communication, engagement and coaching abilities.
• IOSH/NEBOSH knowledge or working towards one is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead a proficient team of warehouse operatives to meet operational demands and KPI targets.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to depots and overseas repairers in line with schedules.
• Oversee training and development of new operatives and provide ongoing support.
• Manage workflows, equipment and safety to meet performance targets.
• Assist with transport planning and stock transfers, ensuring inventory accuracy.
