Job summary

Catering in Warwick is seeking an experienced CNC Miller Setter Operator to join the production team on the afternoon shift. You will set and operate CNC milling machines to manufacture high-precision components in line with engineering drawings and FANUC programs.

The role requires reading drawings, tool setup, and strict quality checks with precision measuring equipment; basic maths skills and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience setting and operating CNC milling machines.
• Familiar with FANUC controls and canned cycles.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic maths skills for machining calculations.
• An engineering apprenticeship would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC milling machines to manufacture high-precision components.
• Read and interpret final and stage engineering drawings.
• Upload programs into machines and set tools, chucks, collets and fixtures.
• Inspect finished parts with precision measuring equipment.
• Record dimensions against drawing requirements during production.
• Carry out routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
