Job summary

Westward Care is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant for afternoon shifts at our Leeds site. You will help keep internal areas and laundry clean to a high hotel-standard, ensuring a welcoming environment for residents and visitors at all times.

Work closely with the Housekeeper to provide discreet, friendly service, follow health and safety guidelines, and contribute to the smooth operation of the service. DBS Enhanced and prior care home housekeeping experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• DBS Enhanced disclosure required.
• Previous experience in a care home housekeeping role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver housekeeping duties to maintain high standards of cleanliness and appearance.
• Work with the Housekeeper to keep internal areas and laundry in good order.
• Provide discreet, friendly service while minimising disruption to residents.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and complete paperwork accurately.
• Assist in the smooth operation of housekeeping and participate in training as required.
