Job summary

Quality Service Recruitment Limited is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants for Afternoon Shifts in a welcoming care home. You will support nursing staff, assist elderly residents with daily activities, and help with hygiene, mobility, and medication rounds.

DBS within 6 months or on-update service is needed, along with relevant training and a clear work history. We offer ongoing hours and potential permanent roles for the right candidates.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 months experience in a care environment.
• DBS check within last 6 months or registered on update service.
• Up-to-date mandatory training and certificates.
• Referenceable work history covering past 2 years.
• Passion to make a difference.
• Assist with medication rounds using MAR charts.

Responsibilities

• Attend to residents' activities of daily living, ensuring hydration and comfort.
• Perform general housekeeping duties such as laundry and cleaning rooms.
• Observe residents' conditions and report using the company systems.
• Comply with health and safety procedures at all times.
• Assist with medication rounds using MAR charts and boxed medications.
