Job summary

A care home in Nottingham NG8 is seeking dedicated Care Assistants for night shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, with a 14:00–22:00 schedule. Immediate starts with a quick onboarding process. You will assist residents with personal care, support daily routines, and help maintain safety and comfort.

Up-to-date DBS checks and training can be arranged if needed. Visa support is not available; £12.75 per hour plus up to 28 accrued holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within a similar care environment.
• Checkable work history.
• Up-to-date mandatory training: Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, Infection Control (online training available with fee).
• Enhanced DBS check up to date; help arranging a new DBS if expired.

In this role, you will be an essential part of our residents' lives:

• assisting them with personal care,
• daily routines to ensure their comfort and safety.
• help with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Your responsibilities will include
• responding to any emergencies,
• and keeping accurate records of the care provided.

We are looking for individuals who are reliable, empathetic, and have experience in a care setting.

If you wish to be considered for this rewarding role you must have the following:

• You must have proven experience within a similar care environment
• Have a checkable work history
• Have up to date mandatory training documents, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control. Should you not have up to date certificates we can offer online training, with an added fee
• Have an in date enhanced DBS check, if your DBS have expired, we can offer the facility to arrange a new one for you.
