Job summary

Heanor-based care home is seeking experienced Care Assistants for weekend shifts in Derbyshire. You will support up to 60 residents, aiding with hygiene, mobility and nutrition, and assist with housekeeping while ensuring safety procedures are followed.

DBS checks and training updates are provided. Online training is available at a subsidised fee, and certificates are yours to keep.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months.
• Up-to-date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving and Handling training.
• Referenceable work history.
• At least 3 months experience within a similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Help residents with daily tasks including hygiene, mobility and nutrition.
• Assist with general housekeeping duties and report changes or incidents to senior staff.

Local hours available for experienced Care Assistants in the Heanor area - Offering weekly paid hours!!

We have immediate opportunities for experienced Care Assistants to join a welcoming care home in Heanor, Derbyshire, working weekend shifts.

This beautifully maintained home supports up to 60 residents, many of whom are living with age-related conditions such as dementia and Alzheimer’s. Supporting both their mental and physical wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do.

As a Care Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in helping residents with daily tasks including hygiene, mobility, and nutrition. You’ll also assist with general housekeeping duties, follow health and safety procedures, and ensure accurate reporting of any changes in residents’ conditions or incidents to senior staff.

As a Care Assistant, you will need:

• An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
• Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving and Handling training

This role offers ongoing weekend work as a Care Assistant

The hours available to you over the weekend will include:

• 06:45 to 14:30 (Early)
• 14:15 to 22:00 (Late)

The rate of pay for this role is £13.00 per hour
