Job summary

Safran Electronics & Defense in Wolverhampton is seeking an Aftermarket Contracts Manager to support the Aftermarket, ensuring on-time delivery of quality products and advising the Global Customer Services team on contract compliance. You will draft and negotiate a range of agreements, lead negotiations, and mitigate commercial risk while mentoring junior staff. The role offers a generous benefits package and hybrid/onsite flexibility.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with min 5 years' relevant contract experience; or 7 years without a degree.
  • Experience drafting, negotiating and managing aerospace contracts.
  • Experience supporting Aftermarket, MRO or service activities.
  • Strong commercial awareness to mitigate contractual risks.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, approve and negotiate aftermarket agreements (supply, repair, maintenance, licensing, and support).
  • Act as contractual focal point for Aftermarket; advise on risk and obligations.
  • Support Biz Development and Customer Services with contractual solutions.
  • Lead customer contract negotiations; maintain strong relationships.
  • Review claims, disputes and change requests; provide practical solutions.
  • Mentor Contracts Officers and promote best practice across the function.

You will provide effective and efficient support to Actuation Systems' Aftermarket, in offering and supporting customers with products that are delivered on time, to the correct quality in a safe manner.
