Job summary

Herbert Strutt Primary School is seeking a dedicated Wrap around Care After School Club Leader to oversee the after-school club, plan engaging activities, and ensure a safe, nourishing environment for pupils. The role involves coordinating transport where needed and contributing to a high-quality tea service.

You will work within safeguarding guidelines, collaborate with staff and parents, attend meetings, and participate in required training to support children’s well-being and development.

Qualifications

• First aid training or qualification preferred.
• Understanding of safeguarding procedures and policies.
• Experience in planning and delivering a range of activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee a range of after-school activities to engage pupils.
• Create a safe, creative and calm environment for children.
• Provide care for children including helping them get to school when needed.
• Ensure a healthy and nutritious tea is provided for children.
• Administer first aid as appropriate and follow safeguarding procedures.
• Liaise with parents, school and other agencies as appropriate and attend meetings.
