Job summary

Protocol Education Limited in London is seeking enthusiastic After School Club Assistants to support a welcoming primary school in Wandsworth. You will help provide a safe, engaging environment for children at the end of the school day.

The role offers flexible, part-time hours with competitive pay and ongoing support from your Protocol Education consultant. Experience with children and an enhanced DBS is preferred, with training available.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Protocol Education is seeking enthusiastic and reliable After School Club Assistants to support a welcoming primary school in Wandsworth. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with experience working with children who are looking for flexible, part-time work.

The Role

As an After School Club Assistant, you will help provide a safe, engaging and enjoyable environment for children at the end of the school day. You will support a range of activities, encourage positive behaviour, and help ensure children are well cared for until collection.

Responsibilities
  • Supervising children aged 4 to 11 during after-school sessions
  • Organising and supporting fun, creative and educational activities
  • Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children
  • Encouraging positive interactions and behaviour
  • Assisting with snack time and daily routines
  • Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
Requirements
  • Experience working with children, either in schools, childcare, clubs, camps or similar settings
  • A positive, energetic and nurturing approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
