Job summary

Protocol Education Limited is recruiting Wrap Around Care Playworkers to support primary schools across Wandsworth in London. You will supervise before and after school sessions, plan engaging games, and help children learn, play and socialise in a safe environment.

We welcome both qualified childcare professionals and enthusiastic individuals with experience working with children. Flexible hours, term-time and holiday club opportunities, and ongoing consultant support are offered.

Qualifications

• Duties include supervising before and after school sessions and creating engaging activities.
• All applicants must meet safeguarding and DBS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervising children before and after the school day.

• Encouraging positive behaviour and inclusion.

Job description

Are you passionate about working with children and creating fun, engaging experiences outside of the classroom? We are currently recruiting Wrap Around Care Playworkers to support a variety of primary schools across Wandsworth.

We are keen to hear from both qualified childcare practitioners and enthusiastic unqualified candidates with experience working with children.

Available Hours

Breakfast Club

• 7:30am - 9:00am

After School Club

• 3:00pm - 6:00pm

Holiday Clubs

• Additional hours may be available during school holidays.

The Role

As a Playworker, you will be responsible for creating a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment where children can learn, play, and socialise.

Duties include:

• Supervising children before and after the school day.
• Planning and leading engaging games, activities, and creative play sessions.
• Supporting children's social, emotional, and physical development.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and inclusion.
• Assisting with snack time and daily routines.
• Ensuring safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed at all times.
