Job summary

Little Melton Primary School invites applications for a Part-time After School Club Assistant (4.5 hours per week).

You will establish positive relationships with children aged 4–11, supervise after-school activities, assist with snack preparation, and maintain open communication with parents and staff in line with school policy.

Hours are Thursday and Friday 3.15pm–5.30pm, with DBS checks and safeguarding considered as part of the appointment process.

Qualifications

• Paediatric First Aid certificate desirable.
• NVQ Level 2 in childcare or equivalent desirable.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain good relationships with children in After School Club.
• Provide care and supervision for children aged 4–11.
• Work with staff at After School Club.
• Assist in preparation and serving of basic food at snack time.
• Communicate with parents as needed.
