Job summary

Funtastic Kids Ltd is looking for a Wrap Around Care Supervisor for the Breakfast & After School Club at Hawthorns Primary School in Wokingham. You will lead a small team, plan activities and ensure safety and safeguarding for every child in our care.

Hours are after school, Monday to Friday, with possible Breakfast Club hours. The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a commitment to a nurturing, inclusive environment for primary school children.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years Qualification or equivalent/ Common Core Skills.
• GCSE English and Mathematics at least grade C.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the running of the club in line with policies and planning time.
• Lead by example to ensure high standards for all children attending the club.
• Manage a team of playworkers with adequate supervision.
• Organise cover staff in the event of sickness or unavailability.
• Direct playworkers to carry out tasks and activities.
• Audit club resources and manage the weekly/fortnightly food budget.
• Ensure safeguarding policies are followed and risk assessments are in place.
• Communicate with parents and school staff, providing feedback on incidents.
