Job summary

The Primary First Trust Limited is seeking a wrap-around Care Supervisor to manage breakfast and after-school clubs for children aged 4 to 11, across infant and junior schools. You will lead a small team, ensure safety, and foster a welcoming, organized environment during term time.

You’ll oversee registers, plan activities, liaise with parents, and work with school staff to support wellbeing and smooth day-to-day operations. Training and development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• A Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare, playwork or supporting teaching and learning.
• Pediatric First Aid and/or Food Hygiene certificate (training available)
• Experience working with children and knowledge of safeguarding would be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily running of breakfast and after-school club, including registers, sign-in and collection procedures
• Plan and organise a varied, play-based program of activities for a wide age range
• Supervise and support wrap-around care assistants, including rotas and induction of new staff
• Keep children safe at all times following safeguarding, health and safety and first aid procedures
• Prepare and serve simple breakfasts and snacks, managing allergies and dietary needs
• Build positive relationships with parents and carers, handle queries professionally
• Keep accurate records of attendance, bookings, incidents and accidents, and support office with bookings/payments
• Collaborate with teachers and school leaders to support children's wellbeing
