Job summary

Chase Bridge Primary School in Twickenham is seeking an Out of Hours Club Playworker to support children with safe, engaging activities after school.

You will assist the Manager with planning play opportunities, accompany children to/from school, supervise mealtimes, and help maintain a welcoming, supportive club environment.

The role involves light administration, first aid when trained, and willingness to undertake training to develop professionally.

Qualifications

• Experience with children in after-school settings is desirable.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Willingness to undertake training.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and provide creative play opportunities in a safe, caring environment.
• Supervise children including drop-off/pick-up and safe handover to carers.
• Ensure refreshments meet hygiene, health and safety standards.
• Create a welcoming and supportive environment for pupils.
• Set up and clear away the club each day.
• Assist with managing children in line with school policies.
• Administer first aid when trained and available.
• Monitor and maintain a healthy, safe, secure club environment.
• Be aware of and support differences to ensure equal access for all.
