Job summary

St Cuthbert’s Catholic Primary School in Walbottle invites applications for a Breakfast/After School Club Assistant. This part-time, term-time only role covers 12.5 hours per week with 7:30–8:35am and 3:15–6:00pm sessions, plus 3:00–5:30pm hours as required.

You will supervise children, support their welfare and help with setting out and tidying resources for a purposeful learning environment. The post is permanent and requires safeguarding and equal opportunities commitment.

Qualifications

• Assist in supervision and welfare of children in After School Club.
• Support children's development and organise, set out and tidy resources.
• Support Wraparound Leader and maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children attending the after school club and ensure welfare.
• Assist with organisation, setting out and clearing away resources.
• Support Wraparound Leader in daily club operations and activities.
