Job summary

Durham Gilesgate Primary School requires a happy, enthusiastic and motivated After School Club Assistant. The role is on-site, term-time only, 15 hours per week (15:00–18:00) with a January 2027 start or as soon as possible. You will supervise children aged 5–11, assist with planning and delivery of activities, maintain a safe play environment and support safeguarding as outlined in school policies.

An enhanced DBS check is essential. Closing date: 18 November 2026; interview: 2 December 2026.

• Experience with children in a group setting.
