Job summary

Hull City Council is recruiting a Cleaning Assistant (Grade 2) for Rise Academy, a permanent term-time role working 12.5 hours per week. The position runs Monday to Friday, 3:15pm–5:45pm, with a salary of £25,614 per year. The post involves cleaning, maintaining a safe environment, and adhering to council policies.

Qualifications

• Undertake cleaning duties in accordance with safe systems of work.
• Comply with Council security policies for buildings in the work area.
• Adhere to Hull Building Cleanings’ procedures, work schedules and safe systems of work.
• Report problems to the Senior Cleaning Assistant or Area Supervisor.
• Participate in appropriate training and staff development.
• Complete relevant paperwork (timesheets, annual leave forms).

Responsibilities

• Follow Hull Building Cleaning procedures and schedules.
