Job summary

Harlescott Junior School is seeking a reliable cleaning assistant to join our site team for 12.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 3:00pm to 5:30pm. The role is permanent and term time plus 3 weeks, with actual annual salary £7,541.57.

Grade 3 at £12.85 per hour, you will clean classrooms, corridors, toilets and shared areas, follow health and safety procedures, and work as part of a friendly team to keep the school environment safe and welcoming for pupils, staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Be friendly, approachable and able to work well as part of a team.
• Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Take pride in their work and pay attention to detail.
• Experience of cleaning is helpful but not essential, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily cleaning of classrooms, corridors, toilets and shared area.
