Job summary

Harlescott Junior School is seeking a reliable Cleaning Assistant to join the site team. This permanent role is 12.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 3:00pm-5:30pm), term time plus 3 weeks (46.94 weeks per year). The post is subject to a DBS check and other safeguards as part of our safeguarding procedures.

The successful candidate will clean classrooms, corridors and toilets to a high standard and work as part of a team to maintain a safe, welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning is helpful but not essential; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily cleaning of classrooms, corridors, toilets and shared areas.
• Ensure all areas are cleaned to a high standard.
• Follow health and safety and hygiene procedures.
• Work as part of a team to support the smooth running of the school.
• Take pride in maintaining a pleasant environment for pupils, staff and visitors.
