Job summary

Perth and Kinross Council is hiring a Childcare Supervisor for Luncarty Wraparound Care. The role involves after-school supervision for 20 hours per week term-time and 36 hours per week during school holidays, overseeing a small team and ensuring high-quality play experiences for children from nursery to end of Primary School.

You will provide engaging activities and organize day-to-day operations while maintaining a safe, inclusive environment and partnering with parents and staff.

Qualifications

• Register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) for Day Care of Children and be willing to apply within 3 months and register within 6 months.
• Maintain your annual SSSC membership.
• The role is child-focused, requiring kindness, sensitivity, respect, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organise the day-to-day operations of the service.
• Provide flexible childcare from nursery to the end of Primary School.
• Manage a small staff team and oversee day-to-day operations.
• Contribute to children's learning and development in a safe and inclusive environment.
