Job summary

Westcountry Schools trust is seeking a Wraparound Care Assistant at Stowford School in Ivybridge. The role supports children aged 3–11 in the after-school club, operating 3:30pm–5:00pm, Monday to Friday for 38 weeks per year. It is a fixed-term post to 31 August 2027, with a 1 position available and various safeguarding checks required.

The successful candidate will join a small team, bring creativity and flexibility, and help maintain a caring environment for children after school hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for children aged 3–11 in a safe, caring environment through individual and group activities.
• Work in a small team with opportunities to grow skills and enhance club activities.
• Deliver wraparound care from 3:30pm to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, term-time only.
• Subject to safeguarding requirements including enhanced DBS check and references.
