The Governors of St Oswald’s CE Aided Primary & Nursery School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and caring after-school club assistant to our well-established wraparound care provision. This position is fixed term until the end of the school year, in the first instance.
The successful candidate will become part of a committed and successful team who have high expectations and demonstrate a caring attitude to all children in our care. Our children need a practitioner who will take an interest in them as individuals and who will ensure that they thrive within our environment. They need someone who will have fun with them!
This post is term-time only. The normal hours of work are 3-6pm.

Standard term time only pay is calculated on the basis of the following:
Individual leave entitlement is calculated on the length of continuous service. Employees with less than 5 years’ service will receive 27 days annual leave. Employees with more than 5 years’ service will receive 32 days annual leave. For example:
Calculation for employees with less than 5 years’ service:
38 weeks (term time) + 27 days (annual leave) + 8 days (public holidays) = 45 weeks’ pay, to be paid in 12 equal monthly instalments
Calculation for employees with more than 5 years’ service:
38 weeks (term time) + 32 days (annual leave) + 8 days (public holidays) = 46 weeks’ pay, to be paid in 12 equal monthly instalments.
