Job summary

Away Resorts is seeking an After Sales Maintenance Assistant at our Tattershall Lakes Holiday Resort. Reporting to the Aftersales Manager, you will carry out general maintenance and repairs in line with policy to improve customer and owner experience, and support the needs of the business.

You will complete snagging on holiday home sales stock, pre-handover tasks, warranty repairs, and implement a maintenance schedule to keep all equipment safe and functional.

Qualifications

• Experience in a maintenance role within hospitality or holiday park environment.
• Proven ability to deliver quality workmanship to required standards.
• Experience using common maintenance equipment and tools.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate clearly.
• Capable of working under pressure and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure snagging on holiday home sales stocks is completed to standard.
• Complete pre-handover tasks before new owners take over.
• Carry out owner repairs within timescales with full reports.
• Handle warranty jobs as parts are supplied by vendors.
• Install bases and sheds per plans, liaise with owners as needed.
• Deliver inventories and large items to owner units.
• Follow Health & Safety policy to protect everyone on site.
• Plan and implement a maintenance schedule to keep equipment serviced.

Who are we?

Nestled in the stunning Lincolnshire countryside, Tattershall Lakes is a 400-acre lakeside paradise bursting with life and adventure. What you will be doing

• Ensuring that all Holiday Home sales stock snagging is completed to the expected standard
• Pre handover Jobs are completed prior to the new owner taking over
• Owner jobs are completed within expected time scales, and to a high standard all jobs to be signed off with a full report so this can be communicated to owner
• Completing Warranty jobs as required when parts sent in by Holiday Home Suppliers
• Installing Addition Bases, using approved pitch improvement plan, erecting the sheds Addition & Centurion and to put on to base liaising directly with owner if required
• Delivering of inventories to owner units and other Large items
• Ensuring that all maintenance work that is carried out is in line with the Health & Safety policy to maintain the safety of all team members, guest and owners at all times.
• Ensuring the good working order of all equipment and plan, prepare and implement a maintenance schedule to keep all in good working order and to be serviced in line with the Health & Safety policy

Skills, experience and qualities you'll need

• Ideally have experience within a maintenance trade
• Have experience of providing quality standard of workBe experienced in the use of maintenance equipment
• Great Customer Service Skills
• Able to work under pressure
• Good Communicator
• Be able to work as part of a team
• Have a full driving licence
