Job summary

Prima Group is recruiting a Development Project Officer to support a portfolio of affordable housing development schemes from inception through to completion and post-completion review.

Based in flexible hybrid arrangements between home and Prima offices, the role covers development planning, financial management, governance reporting and liaison with authorities, partners and consultants to ensure high-quality delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree level or equivalent in Development, Construction, Real Estate, Project Management or related field.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• APM, PRINCE2 or equivalent project management qualification would be beneficial.
• Membership of CIOB, RICS, CIH, APM or similar body desirable.
• IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent health and safety qualification preferred.
• Strong strategic planning, risk management and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of affordable housing and regeneration projects from feasibility to completion.
• Act as project officer for allocated schemes ensuring on time, on budget delivery.
• Manage external consultants, contractors and advisors to meet outputs and governance.
• Lead planning, programming and risk mitigation activities across projects.
• Prepare development appraisals, budgets, cashflows and financial forecasts.
