Job Description

Role: Affiliate Marketing Manager

Location: London

Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time

We have an exciting opportunity in the form of an Affiliates Marketing Manager to join our high performing Acquisition team here at Gousto. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager you will be responsible for the ownership and management of our affiliate program. You will own and execute the affiliate channel strategy, manage the day-to-day programme, and own the reporting of channel performance. This role will involve close collaboration with a diverse range of teams, from brand and analytics to external agencies.

The Acquisition team is instrumental in driving new customer acquisition through a variety of performance marketing channels. Our affiliate channel has been crucial to Gousto's growth, and we are looking to enhance the support for this channel.

In addition, as part of the Acquisition team you will gain exposure to a variety of other performance marketing channels by supporting the execution of our offline media channels including: inserts, out-of-home, and podcasts.

Core Responsibilities

  • Define and develop the affiliate channel strategy
  • Own and maintain the day-to-day operations of the affiliate programme
  • Work with affiliates to update offers, messaging, and creative content
  • Optimize the current portfolio of affiliates and affiliate mix to maximise performance
  • Onboard and develop relationships with new partners
  • Negotiate, book, and process advertising and commissions
  • Manage inbound affiliate queries and proposals
  • Monitor, track, and evaluate affiliate and partner activity, and report on performance
  • Manage the creation, distribution, and maintenance of promo codes and tracking links
  • Ensure integration and consistency with the rest of the marketing team (Brand, Retention, and Acquisition)
  • Report on signup volumes, CPA, and ROI targets

Who You Are

  • Experience in performance marketing and affiliate marketing
  • Experience working on subscription products, ecommerce or affiliate platforms is highly beneficial
  • Understanding of affiliate networks, tracking platforms, and analytics tools
  • Strong commercial negotiation skills with an understanding of financials to be able to develop bespoke deals and offers
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects
  • Great presentation, reporting, and interpersonal skills
  • A motivated and energetic marketer, comfortable working at pace and navigating ambiguity
  • An excellent team player: good at building relationships in cross functional teams
  • Organised and adept at finding ways to improve processes
  • You naturally take initiative and are a self-starter, and are not afraid to use your voice (whether it’s to ask for help, offer suggestions, or to inspire change by questioning the norm)
