Willis Global seeks an International Trade Compliance Officer to join our UK team, based near Maidenhead. The role focuses on UK and US export compliance for aerospace/defence projects, guiding multiple functions and supporting audits.

Hybrid work is offered, with 4 days on-site and 1 day from home. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of ITAR/EAR, UK import/export requirements and experience in the defence/aerospace industry, acting as the onsite focal point for export regulations and

Qualifikationen

• Experience in defence/aerospace sector.
• Strong knowledge of UK export/import requirements.
• Understanding of US ITAR and EAR regulations.
• Ability to work across multiple departments and meet audits.
• Focal point for UK and US export regulations onsite.

Aufgaben

• Maintain export classifications within ERP system
• Update ERP with export data on sales orders, licences, and export clearance
• Screen suppliers and customers
• Communicate with Chamber of Commerce on carnets and origin certificates
• Ensure compliance with UK export legislation
• Support ECJU/HMRC audits and compliance visits
• Ensure compliance with ITAR, EAR and Dual Use regulations
• Provide guidance to purchasing, engineering, projects and other functions
• Maintain import/export paperwork and audit-ready records
• Advise departments on export issues from concept through project lifecycle
