Job summary

Expert Employment Limited is seeking an Aerospace Tooling Design Engineer to design and improve production tooling and fixtures in a specialist aerospace environment. You will use Creo CAD to create tooling concepts and detailed drawings, collaborating with manufacturing and process engineers to boost quality and efficiency.

The role requires a degree or HNC in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and at least three years of experience in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Degree or HNC in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering required.
• At least three years of experience in manufacturing or production processes.
• Creo CAD experience or knowledge is advantageous.
• Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively with different teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop tooling and fixtures using CAD (Creo).
• Create detailed engineering drawings in line with standards.
• Work with manufacturing and process engineers to improve production quality, efficiency and costs.
• Develop prototypes, test designs and validate new tooling.
• Troubleshoot tooling issues and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
