Job summary

Rolls-Royce in Solihull is seeking a Test Systems Design Engineer (Electronics) on a hybrid, full-time basis. You will support and develop test equipment and software/hardware for aerospace and military product testing.

The role requires a degree in Electronic Engineering, strong problem-solving, and experience with test instrumentation. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of electronics test equipment and instrumentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical ability.
• Experience in a test environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support our range of test equipment used within the manufacturing facility and manage introduction of new equipment.
• Design and develop software and hardware required for testing aerospace and military products.
• Review test requirements and define Electrical, Electronic and Software systems to meet current and future demands.
• Coordinate with Electronics Test management and customers to ensure planning, building and commissioning are supported and equipment purchased per requirements.
• Develop and document policies, procedures, and technologies to ensure test platforms are developed in a controlled way.
