Cambridge Aerospace is seeking a Test Equipment Development Engineer to design, develop, commission and maintain automated test equipment used to test our products. You will own bespoke test solutions spanning electronics, electro-mechanical systems and propulsion hardware, from concept through deployment and support.

You will work closely with Product, Electronics, Systems, Manufacturing and Verification & Validation teams to develop automated-test-equipment (ATE), hardware-in-the-loop rigs and

Qualifications

• Experience developing automated or semi-automated test equipment in high-reliability environments.
• Ability to take test equipment from requirements to deployment.
• Practical knowledge of instrumentation, signal conditioning and DAQ systems.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop bespoke automated test equipment from requirements to deployment.
• Develop test interfaces, fixtures, and data acquisition systems.
• Create automated test sequences, control software and operator interfaces.
• Implement data collection, pass/fail, and reporting in production environments.
• Provide ownership for deployed test equipment and version control.
